Ice Pops 'Round the World!

Even ice pop-makers don't hibernate in winter; since the last time you saw us hawking pops at the Brooklyn Flea, the three of us have been all over the gaff.

Here are a few pictures of people enjoying sweet, icy treats in other parts of the pop-loving world!

Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
Boys selling shave ice. Though they only had one bowl and one spoon, it was too hot for anyone to mind.

Bangkok, Thailand.
Tiny pops, frozen in minutes!

Finisterre, Spain.
This picture was totally taken from the wrong angle. The girls and their orange creamsicles are great, but behind them is our crappy rental car, whereas behind us was the westernmost point in Europe, the bluest ocean we'd seen in months.

Ishkashim, Tajikistan.
Cool shave ice syrup dispenser. The ice is in the box below. Again, reusable glass cups. No waste here.

Moscow, Russia.
Is it us, or do these chicks just LOOK LIKE HUMAN ICE POPS?!?!
